Call Of the Part 1 Dragon The Note “Collin! Wake up! Time for breakfast! ” Collin’s mom shouted. Collin got out of his bed slowly and started walking to the kitchen. To make a long story short (By that I mean the day) Collin ate breakfast, had a boring school day, went home, ate dinner, and I won’t skip the exciting part. Since it was a cold winter night on Friday 13th and it was snowing outside (They live in Minnesota) they were going to light their fireplace. Collin’s mom lit the fireplace and they sat around it for 5 minutes. Then a ton of snow fell down their chimney and the fireplace went out. They heard footsteps on the roof. Collin rushed outside the door…and on the roof was Billy Barthles, the school trickster. He was holding a bucket and he shouted “Naptha! I shoulda’ thought about that you were so fast!” He leapt across the small gap between the houses and went on a few then climbed down a ladder to his house. Their houses were near each other. When the commotion was over they went back into their house. Collin’s mom was about light the fire when Collin quickly said “Look! An envelope! ” On the front it said To Collin R. Naptha and NO ONE ELSE. “Well it’s for you” Collins mom said. Inside it said: Dear Collin, Did you receive this letter on Friday, January 13th? If not his note will not be any help and I have failed. If so, read on. Collin, you are the only one who can read this note except for Lenna and the other people in the prophecy which you will lean about later can read this note.Do This… THE NEXT DAYWhooouua! Whooouua! The alarm on Collin’s Spy Stuff Alarm went off. Collin woke up. “Wha?” “I can’t believe that you put up your Spy Stuff Alarm up so I couldn’t read the letter,” said Collin’s mom“But it says no one else ten times on the letter or the envelope”“Ok, ok. We’re going to Lenna’s to pick her up.” At the airport Lenna asked “What are we doing here?” “Oh yeah the note!” Collin took out the note and showed it to Lenna. “Read it,” Collin told Lenna. “What? Why do you let her read it?” Collin’s mom asked. “It says that she and the other people in the prophecy (which I’ll learn about later, I guess) can read it. “Ok. Hurry up! We’re late for the flight!” They ran off and a speaker announced “Flight number two-six-three-seven is delayed for five minutes”
“That’s our flight!” Collin’s mom said.
“Phew!” The two kids said.
On The Plane “What time is it?” Collin asked. “Two o-clock” Lenna replied. ‘It’s only been two hours? Still have halfway to-” Collin couldn’t finish his sentence because of two things. One: The plane had jerked to the right. Two: There was a loud BOOM! “We lost a wing!” The pilot shouted over the intercom. Then there was a loud whoosh! And Collin and Lenna ended up on the edge of a small town with a forest behind them and they had no idea where they were.
